aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Hit the water around 11:00. Water temp 63 degrees. Pulled a bonehead move and put on my winter prop last night but forgot to put the PVS plugs in. Boat would not get on plane to save my life. Idled to a bluff and started looking for stick ups. Fish were deeper than last week. 30-45. No wind to speak of so it wasnt to hard to drop down to them. Only ended up with 8, took them by my dads and cleaned them for his veterans day present. The big one was 15" picture doesnt really do it justice, and that one was the deepest of the day. Its had the "bends" pretty bad its eyes were bulged out and it vomited up its swim bladder into its mouth. terryj1024, Fish24/7, liphunter and 3 others 6

aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted November 12, 2020 Author Posted November 12, 2020 Yeah my 21 "summer" prop and my 23 "winter" prop run the exact same speed with different rpm's. basically just a spare but im tryin to be fancy saying I have a winter prop. No clue why so deep, I was just watching the livecheaterscope and thats where they were, lots of small bass and big bluegill right above the crappie fishinwrench, snagged in outlet 3 and Royal Blue 3
Bill Jr. Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Nice size to those crappie! Wondering if you were using minnows or jigs. Heading down tomorrow for the weekend and mostly will bass fish but may take a break and go after them.

Bill Jr. Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 Thanks for the info was able to get out about 4:15 and fished for an hour with my 2 brothers. Caught 9 mixed bass with biggest a 16.5” sm and tried dropping jigs on a brush pile but no crappie. We’ll definitely try again tomorrow and sat. Hopefully be able to take some slabs home. Fish24/7 1
Fish24/7 Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I Haven't been to big Creek in months! Where you launched is a 10-15 minutes drive from my house. Man I used to Fall crappie fish a lot. Not so much anymore. Seeing you pull a White Crappy out of 40' in November, well I don't think I've ever seen that done before. Until now. And it was a big one! Nice job 👍 I like to long line troll with jigs on those timbered areas using 1/8oz weedless jigs and BG swimming minnows. If you try to drag a regular non weedless jig through the trees you get snagged immediately. Usually find the fish suspended in 12-20' over 50+ fow. Should be some white bass biting something somewhere right now also. They usually get pretty hungry in November and will be in the creek arms also. How much Wind is blowing will typically determine their depth. Get enough wind and they'll move in on those places and hit artificial, if it's calm and sun they typically will be a lot deeper offshore suspended or near bottom. I like blade baits and Binks spoons then. That live scope you have should find them easily 😉
