                  Never would of happened with the old deck. Heard through the grapevine it is attracted to new wood installations. I liked the old deck better, just saying.

Nah.  Everybody is from somewhere.  I lived in Illinois for 7 years too.  Missouri is a lot more beautiful than I expected.   And I've not even barely scratched the surface.

All the talk about aliens with this metal object lol well  Here's something i think maybe some of you might like. Not saying it was ET, but Several people in my town reported seeing a UFO just last week. Just so happens it was VERY near where I deer hunt. In fact about an eighth mile away.Just so happens I find these odd pictures on my trail camera taken on the  night  of the sightings, about 5am. No deer we're seen in the area for four days AFTER the event.

A very bright light in the sky. The size of an above ground swimming pool, Bright enough to light up an entire hillside and 5 acre field with a beam of light scanning the ground. No, it wasn't a helicopter or drone, but  a a UFO, silent. When it left the witness told me it shot straight up into the sky FASTER than they could follow with their eyes. Everybody who saw it said the exact same things about it.  Interesting enough because Missouri chapter  of MUFON is having a meeting soon about these see  UFO's. They call them fast movers. 

I've seen them, first time was back in 2012.

I have more pictures ,of the deer reaction to the light and an unidentifiable , let's just call it a "thing"

Sure is, on the 4 pictures taken before this light there's a deer feeding . You see it look up and look backwards, then next picture it's hunkered down squatting like trying too look lower at something, next picture tail sticking straight up running away. Next three pictures after are of the light and some weird "thing".  I don't have the pic of the thing right this second but I can get it.
