For clarity, I've caught and fished with bugs and bait for 50+ years, so when Ham said he caught the shad on a fly, I (briefly) thought 'house fly'. Actually laughed out loud at the mere thought of it. I just had to ask, "Do you net those or trap them?", referring to house flies, for bait. Looking back, I can see how it could read otherwise. 

Glad I didn't choose comedian as an occupation.

If I was going to use house fly as bait, I would fish them as maggots. But that's really nasty stuff man. I'm not there yet.

82) Koi @FishnDave was gracious enough to guide me around his spots to give me chances at different fish and flyrod targets. I appreciate it so Very Much.

I got several Koi. This was my first. On 2 lb line and a micro jig with the Leland TCB rod. Most of the rest were on flyrod, but it's been a HOT, Sweaty Blur the last couple of days and I can't swear I didn't catch another one on spinning.
