Question:

I have been thinking I would throw a bait or 3 at some walleye, below the dam, maybe from a kayak or from the bank, so the question is, am I going to have to fight my way through a crowd of people or is it relatively quiet around the 1st week of February? ( barring any flooding)

Thanks it's a pretty fair drive for me, so a little intell' would be great.

Historically the good walleye fishing there is after midnight.  If the Forsythian sees this he may be able to help ypu.

Quick report from Buster and he has been several times in the past couple of weeks.

One day great next day Zero no rhyme or reason. I know he has has several days with limits of quality walleye and some pretty nice crappie and some days skunk.

Best baits swimming minnow and of course a mega bass plus 1 or 2

Good Luck

That doesn’t bode well for the average Joe on bad days if Buster is having trouble.
