So this bottom hull design would give the boat more lift? It has opposing angles?

Yes. free body diagrams and Newton’s 3rd law. First seems applicable but it’s been 20+ years...

while decreased from perpendicular it does indeed create a reaction. 
 

FWIW my wife hates when I use physics to explain something she’s emotional about Not my rules but physics always work unless emotion is involved.

Lol I’m not emotional about this but if this hull design creates lift then why aren’t all hulls shaped like this?

Different tools for different jobs... should be weird in turns. Flat would be better in a turn but not as good as a vee or semi-v. 
there is no 1 hull for everything, it’s all a trade off. The bow being concave or convex on the sides of the keel change handling. The options are almost endless as are their strengths and weaknesses.

Agreed,  but I still disagree on the lift. The small amount of lift the opposing sides might create won’t overcome the loss of lift from the tunnel surface area lost. We will just have to disagree.  😉

Tiring debate.   Once again, I have concrete blocks and/or a perfect stump field to settle it.     But of course it would require 2 identical rigs with the only difference being the hull design and rigging.   And that ain't fixin' to happen, so...  🤷

I guess too many boat dealers are making too much money selling the idea. Oh well
