Lews

Does anyone know what the gameplan is for Lews? They closed their awesome store here in Springfield and now they are sorda selling their stuff half heartedly through a bunch of online retailers and bass pro but they dont keep anything in stock...

I contacted their customer support team a while back and they said they plan on moving to direct sales on their website..anyone know if this is true or when the change might happen?

I think it would be anybody’s guess since the parent company has a variety of holdings and is only looking at the bottom line.  Online sales wouldn’t surprise me since they now have a big distribution center in the Republic industrial park and are just down the road from the new ginormous Amazon building.

I think there's only one logical conclusion here...i wait a couple years then order a lews rod online, it gets dropped on my doorstep the next day by a drone and i get a notification on my phone haha!

Yeah I’m done with Lews...... used to buy their crap but, I have moved on to better products. Good luck with them

I’ve never been a Lew’s user but I did like that store.  Maybe I’ll get to like the Boat Works store as well.  It’s just that there are big temptations one has to walk by on the way in.

My nextdoor neighbor just got his new Caymus from them  Really sweet boat.

My 5 year old picked that one out when i was there the other day with him.  One of the guys that worked there came out and gave him a Boat Works hat. seem like good people up there.  Unfortunately we had to leave the Bass Cat. Gonna stick with the ole trusty ProCraft for a few more years
