magicwormman Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 My wife and I had the opportunity to follow the DNR sampling boats around Buzzard today. They covered the entire cove in 40 minutes. They only netted 3 small bass. The question is, have all the bigger bass moved out to the main lake? dtrs5kprs, cheesemaster and Carl W 3

Knowing you the big ones are being held in your live wells until the DNR leaves!! magicwormman 1
Dutch Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Sampling?? Is that shocking? They used to do that at night.
Bill Babler Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 I've gone with them many times and it's always at night. Did you ask them what they were up to? I'll listen off the air. Thanks dtrs5kprs and MoCarp 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 I saw them running around in the Cape fair area yesterday in the middle of the day. not sure what they were doing dtrs5kprs 1
tjm Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 DNR would be sampling for sewage or contamination, Ag or mining waste etc. wouldn't they? Anything to do with fish would be MDC or AGFC, I would think. merc1997 Bo 1
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 the ones i saw definitely had those things hanging off the front for shocking dtrs5kprs 1
magicwormman Posted May 22, 2021 Author Posted May 22, 2021 They were definitely shocking as they has the devices hanging from the front of both boats. They were moving fast and on a mission! They didn't appear to want to be bothered! ALL BUSINESS!! cheesemaster and dtrs5kprs 2
