Yikes! My Trolling Motor Is Possessed! Call the Exorcist!

Recommended Posts

No, my foot is not on the pedal and I am not using my fob to change direction. Shortly after this video, the motor refused to stay on

I’ve heard of others with foot petal issues. Garmin sent him a replacement but it had a newer model number. Might be worth a call.

Yep, seeing quite a bit of that lately.   In a few cases only along certain banks where the RF signal from home alarm systems are interfering.

Like I said in another thread.....For the next couple years you might be better off sticking with Minn-Kota or Motorguide until these "new kids" figure out all the bugs.     But hell.... nobody listens to ME 😅

I have called Garmin support. They advised what I expected. The equivalent of unplug the computer, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.

First two steps: update the software then reset to factory defaults and sync.

When that does not work (I would say 80/20 against), we go to the next step.

While you have a computer genius on the line, would you mind telling him/her that my daughter sat on the TV remote and now our blackweb sound-bar won't work anymore (it has its own separate remote).

We've tried everything.  What's the fix?

Don’t sit on the remote.  You’re welcome.

No I’m good.  He helps lots of people for free.  It’s the least I could do.

I give you no credit for that..... because the sound-bar STILL doesn't work.
