Members seabass03 Posted June 20, 2021 Members Posted June 20, 2021 worked fine the last month, now this... any good ideas...Im stumped
Members lojack Posted June 21, 2021 Members Posted June 21, 2021 One thing I know of to check, if you haven'y already, the foot pedal is very sensitive. Make sure there is nothing impeding its path. Cables lying next to it or plastics or something in the tray well can disengage the spot lock. Is the pedal mounted down? Touching the side of the tray would disengage the spot lock also.
Dutch Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 All I can think of is the sensor calibration and or boat off set may need to be redone.

Bill Babler Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 Good friend has had 3 boards go out on his. Got fed up last week, took it off when back to the boat dealership, carried it into service bay, threw it on the floor and walked out without saying a word. His first one the lower unit leaked and spewed water out the head. Mine did the exact same thing and then it had a board in the foot pedal go out. They gave him a new updated 2021. 2 boards later he has had a dose. That product has been on the market forever and it’s still a huge piece of excrement. Just ticks me off that people’s trust and hard earned time and money have to put up with this. MOstreamer and dtrs5kprs 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Members pjlures Posted June 22, 2021 Members Posted June 22, 2021 Consider that all the new trolling motors have as much electronics in the them as first space rocket to the moon it surprises me they hold up as good as they do. Garmin had a recall I was told last summer. It took motorguide months to get theirs out there. I've had my ultrex for over a couple of years. Occasionally it seems to go off spotlock but could be I hit the button. Over all it's been pretty good. They all amaze me. Nothing is perfect except my grandchildren. snagged in outlet 3, Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites and 2 others 5
