BilletHead
Fist off thanks for looking, Been threatening to do this for sometime. My fellow OAF members and friends here get their picks before I go on the open market. Ok my idea of the open market is the local farmers market which I just don't want to do so help me out please. Some of these pieces by the time I put time in the restoration and seasoning process I am in the whole and some I am making a bit. Not much as you will see in my prices. What you won't see here is my special finds and daily cooking pieces. Those will phase out sometime as I add others I desire. There may be a couple here from the 70s and a couple mid 60s the rest are pre 60s to possibly mid to early 30s. All are ready to cook in and in excellent shape. If anyone wants pictures I will post if asked or send to you Via a PM if you want to be stealthy or are embarrassed and are afraid you will be shamed for dealing with me . Where to start? How about Lodge? The only one left that is still producing cast Iron in their name. All I am posting is the slick non gritty skillet type. Not a fan of the new stuff. We are talking the 3 notch style I have one number 10s A post 60s with the egg in the skillet logo. Slick bottom. 35 bucks each. Two 7s for 20 each , three 6s for 20 each , three 5s for 15 each and a # 4. 4's of any size are hard to find. In all my hunting I have had only four #4s in any brand in my hands. Got to have 20 bucks for this one. Then one of those sectioned off cornbread skillets. It has the gritty type finish. Mint condition 20 bucks. I will post another brand a bit later. Coming up some Griswold , Wagner and Birmingham stove and range. Johnsfolly
Marty could you post a photo of a #6 and #8 for size comparison? I don't think that I have seen a #6 and don't have a good feel for how different it would be. Do you have any that have not been refurbished? I know how much you love getting them in the E tank and didn't think there would be any cruddy ones but had to ask 😁 BilletHead
BilletHead
Last bunch are BSR, Good well made skillets They had Red mountain and Century series skillets. Actually same skillet but there was a time when casting process became automated. A Red mountain #8 and have a lid for it (pending). Lids can be hard to find but ladies and gents we have a match. 30 for it. Three # 7's for 20 each and three #5's for 15 each. Another deal. BSR skillets number like other skillets size wise but actually run a bit larger.
