It is definitely a sellers market right now.   I am seeing some extremely crusty tubs selling IMMEDIATELY,  for unbelievably high prices.  

Some half-witted dude from the chicken plant came wheeling in last week with a real POS that he'd just bought for 6k ! 😳 And has dreams of being the next KVD.  Wanted the motor freshened up, hydraulic steering installed, the livewell pumps and plumbing replaced, trailer lights replaced, and  Livescope and another Garmin unit installed.  ($$$$$$)   "You got it, big spender!"

Where are these people coming up with all of this money all of a sudden?    And don't say "stimulus"......cuz I ain't buying THAT.

I had an experience this week , my buddy was going to buy a used 94 champion . Some kid ended up buying it for a 1,000 over asking price and listed it less than 12 hrs later for 4,000 over what he paid. I had to call him out because he was touting how nice of a boat it is how the motor is perfect blah blah blah … I’m like dude you haven’t owned it a day how the hell do you know what the motors like .

That’s how some of the small fishing shops do with reels, etc.  I saw a guy at BPS Outlet with a dozen or so reels.  I asked him about them and he told me that he had bought and sold hundreds through his shop.

I’m not saying it’s wrong. Just another example of boat prices being gouged .

Yes. We had to order parts for the on warranty  tm. When that is done, I will test it to be sure it meets my standards.

The circuit board in the tm has been replaced. It no longer behaves as if possessed. The boat comes out of the water Monday for a complete detailing, including the lake scum. Pics after that, and I will post on Walleye Central.
