But once you put the troller down it is flat as can be and fishes great. I dont have a whole lot to compare it to, never been in anything bigger, I guess i dont have the right friends. Today was my first day out with the Garmin troller its a badass. So smooth and quiet. it will take some getting used to, the pedal seems so flemsy and the button is on the wrong side from my motorguide. Thats just a me problem ill get used to it quick snagged in outlet 3 and fishinwrench 2
