TR for tonight through Saturday

Me and my buddy Rob are a few hours away from a night time adventure.

Hoping we can find some of these big boys that are moving up.  

We're going to sling some jerks and hopefully get Rob his first trout on his new Mike Riffel  rod. 

Super pumped to get down and take advantage of the flows if they keep this pattern up. 

I'll try to keep this thread updated with some pics if we catch anything decent.

Good luck!  I think my boy and I ran into you up by the outlet 1 parking lot.  We didn't have a single bite down by Cooper boat launch.  I had 50ish in my kayak last Friday under the full moon.  No big rainbows but had a 21 inch brown last friday.

Actually the boy just caught about a ten inches as I was loading the truck up lol

We were in the white chevy truck if that was you guys? @Jhoff

We started down from rebar.  Had a bunch of hits but only a few hookups.  I think there was a school of dinks out there. I had 3 or 4 hooked that came off, but landed a few dinks. Pinched barbs are not my friend tonight. 

I did hook a thick silver bullet and as I was reaching for my net he spit my jerk bait right into my head lamp... that will wake you up,  but at least it didn't get my face. 

We headed up to dam and it was dead... no bites. 

We then ventured down to boat ramp and Rob stuck 2 really nice bows back to back. Just thick chunky tanks prolly 17in or so

I hooked another dink... 

Lots of missed fish tonight. We went down to the narrows and I got crushed by something big.  Had it on for a second by the big alligator log then it popped off..

Would of liked to seen that one. 

Robs passed out in truck catching a cat nap before we get back after it.  77 degrees tonight lol,  gonna be a hot one tomorrow.
