Does anyone have a recommendation for a good winter boot for fishing.  I am looking for something that is waterproof and warm.  I am willing to spend $125 or maybe a little more.  I have looked a Huk, but do not see what I am looking for.  Thank you for your help.

I use the standard 8" hunting boot, insulated with 400 to 600 grams. And use merino wool socks. The 400-600 range gives you plenty of flexibility to run the trolling motor. Danner makes a good boot. The 400 to 600 with proper socks will handle air temps from 27 to 40.

I agree with Dock, I use same set up.   I have a pair of Danner and rocky and both work well.

I have some “hunting boots” for cold weather but here is my warmest driest pair.

I use a 200g boot. Any more than 200 and my feet sweat and then get cold. I use these, can’t get too deep in the water with them - but they work for me. I think they are around 125 on sale - listed here at 140.81715BA4-E3C4-4D43-B0E3-5FBA1526948C.png

They are Red Head from Bass Pro.

I use Muck type rubber boots with neoprene liners.  Give you a few extra inches of watertight when goofing around in and out of boats.  Otherwise, Danner Pronghorns or Sharptail. Goretex and Thins late.

After screwing around with boots for years, I have gone the overshoe route.  I like wearing a pair of sneakers while in the boat, easier to get around and I use the TM a lot.  I put on a pair of heavy socks of course when it is cold, and being a wimp, I won't go if the temps are below freezing.

I put these on to launch the boat and put it on the trailer, for me it is easier to get in the water, rather than balancing on the trailer beam.  Lightweight, easy on/off.
