I’d like to fish with one to see what’s up.  There’s lots of videos on them but I’d like to see for myself.   Sure is polarizing😂

It's REALLY cool.   I've never installed a bunch of them, and took them out to play with them.    But I just don't think I want it on my boats.

I have a feeling that once guys do that for awhile they'll eventually tire of it.....but won't want to fish without it.....so they'll take up golf.   Which is ok with me. 😁

Never have enjoyed video games, but I DO like SI/DI/GPS so I can take a pass and see what’s up, mark if desired, and then go back and fish based on that info.  It works for me.  I do see that being able to watch a fishes reaction to your presentation can be a game changer but I can usually figure out enough to catch a few to keep me happy.

There’s a few places on the river I’d just like to see what the heck is down there.   Some always have fish and some look fishy but I never catch fish there.   Does that make sense?

Be tricky with the boat constantly moving from flow IMO. It looks hard enough to stay on fish while fishing calm water. SI would give you a better “xray” view of what is there. The newer units are extremely detailed.

Same here. I’m definitely not opposed to having FFS but it just doesn’t seem like it would be worth the investment for me personally. Side imaging and spot lock trolling motors were two things I had no issue dropping $$$ on though. Upgrading to both opened up SO many possibilities!

What I liked the most about Livescope was the perspective it gives you. You can see exactly where you are in relation to a drop off, point, brushpile, etc. Obviously with 2D you can only see straight below you, and SI is useless unless the boat is moving.

I didn't catch loads more fish with it. I caught more for sure but it still doesn't make them bite, just makes them easier to find.

Do you use SI on rivers and at Taney?
