aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Enough with all the political threads. Anyone on here that actually fishes tried out the color limit update. Looks promising. Being able to crank up the gain and use the color limit to filter out the fuzz. grizwilson 1
fishinwrench Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 It doesn't get any more POLITICAL than LIVESCOPE! 😂🤣😁 Nice try tho. 😉 Seth 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 I’d like to fish with one to see what’s up. There’s lots of videos on them but I’d like to see for myself. Sure is polarizing😂 nomolites 1

But I just don't think I want it on my boats. I have a feeling that once guys do that for awhile they'll eventually tire of it.....but won't want to fish without it.....so they'll take up golf. Which is ok with me. 😁 snagged in outlet 3 1
nomolites Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Never have enjoyed video games, but I DO like SI/DI/GPS so I can take a pass and see what’s up, mark if desired, and then go back and fish based on that info. It works for me. I do see that being able to watch a fishes reaction to your presentation can be a game changer but I can usually figure out enough to catch a few to keep me happy. snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 There’s a few places on the river I’d just like to see what the heck is down there. Some always have fish and some look fishy but I never catch fish there. Does that make sense? nomolites 1

It looks hard enough to stay on fish while fishing calm water. SI would give you a better “xray” view of what is there. The newer units are extremely detailed. snagged in outlet 3 1

I’m definitely not opposed to having FFS but it just doesn’t seem like it would be worth the investment for me personally. Side imaging and spot lock trolling motors were two things I had no issue dropping $$$ on though. Upgrading to both opened up SO many possibilities! nomolites 1
MrGiggles Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 What I liked the most about Livescope was the perspective it gives you. You can see exactly where you are in relation to a drop off, point, brushpile, etc. Obviously with 2D you can only see straight below you, and SI is useless unless the boat is moving. I didn't catch loads more fish with it. I caught more for sure but it still doesn't make them bite, just makes them easier to find. Seth 1 -Austin
