Will be cleaning off the strawberries after the current cold spell passes, and gotta mow, salt and fertilize the asparagus too. What do you mean Salt the Asparagus? What do you use for your fertilizer on the Asparagus? Also any tips for fertilizer on Strawberries?
jdmidwest
https://strawberryplants.org/growing-strawberries/ I use some 10-10-10 to start, then miracle grow after berries. MOPanfisher
I salt the heck out of my asparagus patch to kill grass. Asparagus doesn't seem to care about salt. For strawberries I usually give them a light shot of triple 13 or such early to get them started, then as they get ready to bloom I give them something like a 0-6-24 if I can find it, if not they get another dose of triple 13. Sometime ya use what ya got.

Fields are overdue for fertizer and lime. More than the hay it will produce. If you can get it. Phosphate and nitrogen shortage again. None around here last spring either. oneshot
Was checking Fertilizer is two and a half times what it did cost. Same way with gas. People are not thinking about the fact oil goes into about everything now days not just gas. And why are we still buying from China? That is what I brought up with a Senator. Why not make this stuff here? Because it is cheaper from China. oneshot
