Depends on the model, mostly, but Express and War Eagle....with their grossly oversized built-in fuel tanks makes me wanna park them in the middle of a big field and set them on fire. Do they REALLY think that the steering system, bilge/livewell pumps, intake/drain valves, and the plumbing, is going to outlast the hull ? WTF are they thinking? Doesn't matter to me, because I get paid by the hour...... but as an owner having to pay 2k to replace a livewell pump..... would kinda sting a bit. The whole point of having an aluminum boat is weight, durability, and ease of maintenance... For crying out loud ! When shopping for boats, whether aluminum or glass......CONSIDER THAT ! It isn't hard to build a boat where all of its components can be relatively easily serviced. magicwormman 1

I’m about to have to bilge dive to replace a cartridge in my 188 champion . me contemplating what life would be like as a boat mechanic after a 45 min aerator replacement

Just take as much time as it takes to make it worth the frustration and pain. That's exactly what I do! 🙂 cheesemaster 1
