Pretty much, yeah.  Really ugly, but boy it got way more bites than everything else on quite a few days. IMG_20220307_191938818~2.jpg

Here's one I'm kinda anxious to show the Whites this Spring.   I think they'll eat it. IMG_20220307_191433803~2.jpg

Nice Glen so the one you talked about was it for Whites?

The Olive over Tan clousers?  Yes.

I was told by a guy that fishes the North Fork of the White and Bryant creek that the temperate bass eat crawfish out of those creeks as there lots in those waters. That is why I did that color combo. Have not been back to try since then. He also said the green should be more of a kelly green.

I've always heard that too, but I've yet to clean a White, Hybrid, or Mutt AROUND HERE with a crawdad in its gut.   And I've knifed a bunch of them.    Might be a different story further south.

@fishinwrench @BilletHead what size are you guys tying? You've inspired me to whip some up. Thinking of tying a big ol' boy on a size 1 or 2 B10s.

#4 and #2 for me.     I use the next size bigger blade on the #2......and that's the one that'll really hurt you if you don't pay attention to your casting loop. 😁

Blow this pic up and take a close look at the fly that caught her. 🙂

I don't know why, but I almost always catch a walleye on this thing if I fish it during the spring White bass run.   And almost always catch a channel cat or 3 when fishing it in the fall out on the flats.
