I agree. Your flies look better than mine. Just start choosing new patterns and seeing what happens.

Those pheasant tails will catch….in addition to all the other suggestions size 16-18 ruby midges are a good alternate to zebra midges and can be tough to beat some days.

Mine is pretty simple. I just use one strip. Tie it in at the tail and then palmer it up. I also fish it more like a streamer and key on the fish that show interest in chasing it.

so more like a pine squirrel streamer? That's pretty cool. 

I those a lot with squirrel and rabbit strips, sometimes on jig heads. Looks good.

Yes and being smaller length hair can size down to approate hook size.

Sounds so luxurious. Not really a mink kind of a girl, but I'd be willing to give it a try.
