Bill Babler Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Man it has just poured for the past 3 hrs. We're trying to move stuff, but today is more than a wash out. Over 3 inches here on the SW side of Long Creek. 2 inches the day before so we are for sure getting the mushrooms watered. Only real problem is Blue Eye weather is showing a morning start tomorrow of 32 degree. That's just stupid for this time of year. dtrs5kprs and grizwilson 2 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
dtrs5kprs Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 It'll be interesting to see how fast they move to offset any rise.
Quillback Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Poured down rain here too. If Bo was still with us, I guarantee he'd be looking for that muddy water in the back of a cove tomorrow. grizwilson, bfishn, dtrs5kprs and 1 other 4
dtrs5kprs Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Tomorrow afternoon maybe. Let the sun get on it for a bit. Quillback 1

What a fun, enjoyable conversation. Makes me wish some of the veterans of fishing this lake would collaborate on a history of TR fishing. I've read Tom Koob's version but it was a little too historical (IMHO) and missing the entertaining anecdotes that some of y'all could provide (wink, wink, Bill). dtrs5kprs, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 3 "There was a time that I didn't fish, but I cannot remember it."

Quillback Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 Someone loaned me the Koob book, I wish it had more pictures of the river and its surroundings before it was flooded. I agree, now that Bill is leading the life of a retired country gentleman, he has plenty of time to put together a book. dtrs5kprs, bobby b., Nick Adams and 3 others 6
