The karst will continue discharging for several days after this rain ends. Every hillside near me is making water. We've been 'trapped' at home by flooding "dry ditches" since Wed. evening. "Low water bridge" on the county road has been impassable since Monday night, Little Sugar went from about 400CFS to about 15,000CFS.  I think of it as normal for the area and the season.

We wound up with 6.26 for the last week.  Finley was over Riverside Road in Ozark yesterday evening.  Not sure if it still is.  As usual, there was at least one high water rescue for an idiot driver trying to cross a flooded crossing on the upper James.  Those people should get a bill, and a big one.

6.67 inches here at Baxter since just Sunday, May 1st.  Recorded on our Vantage Vue Weather station's rain gauge and confirmed by a mechanical or static rain gauge.  ( yeah, I'm a weather-geek ! lol )  Lake level this morning at 0900 923.74 and forecast to go over 925 but that may be too conservative and need updating.  Here we go again !  Better weather, by far, in the forecast so break out the shorts and sunscreen.

It was mentioned in this thread that table rock may crest on Sunday at 925.8. This estimate no longer seems to be the case. Has the COE provided new guidance regarding crest level and timeframe?

Hard to know, would be nice if they would update their website or FB page with that kind of info.  James and Kings look to be coming down, but still 40K CFS coming over Beaver.  With 20K CFS going out, there is still a net gain in water.

It's pretty much there, based on having fished it at 925 before. Don't think that estimate counted the all night rains.
