mulberries

                Bingo!

Tasty when ripe and full of little bugs hard to see but I ate many bugs on them as a kid and I still eat a few.  They come in a white when ripe variety too. All wildlife like them.

Thanks guys, I have heard of mulberries but no idea what they looked like.  Dunno if I can eat on though now that you told me they are full of bugs.  😀

Birds have wrecked my fences this year..

Yep purple bird poop. I have one tall tree in the yard. Racoons are in and under it every night. Purple seedy coon poop all over the place too.

100 years ago, when I was a boy, there was an old mulberry tree on the banks of a creek that is now a concrete conduit to the Arkansas river. I would stand on the earth embankment and eat berries until I was sick.

Memories, especially taste and smell stay with you forever.

So do Squirrels.

Dang Mulberry tree got me in trouble many years ago.

Decided to take a night walk with a girl from Boston at her Sister's farm.  Seems Mulberries stain  clothes very bad. LOL
