Got a late start, I'm an hour and a half from the water.

Anyway got the boat in by 8am, walleye and gills were my target, jigged a spoon, had some interest but no takers.

I usually don't fish the gravel much, but I did find 3 short walleye 17 1/2, and 3 gills before 10am. All came off gravel run outs with steep drop offs.

Bottom bouncers and jig and crawler.

It was super hot by 10am so the wife and I drove the boat around a bit to blow the cobwebs out, it's been over a year since I have been in the boat !

Anyway maybe I will get back out in October.

I'm happy I still remember how to find them, and I didn't get skunked.

Now that I think about it I haven't seen you posting much. Glad to see you back. Always go to hear from someone who can catch them at Stockton.

The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check

The same habit and habitat seem to apply in tablerock there are just about 10 feet deeper many time.

Stockton was a good teacher and of course all the kind folks on this forum.
