Ketchup Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Got a chiro app. in the morning at 9. I have to go minimum every 12 weeks or I can’t get up. I have done the “i will be better in a few days” attempt more than a handful of times, and those were always the times I literally couldn’t get out of bed by myself. When i hear the joints cracking while in his office, i know in 2 days i can act like Superman again. Here is something that always helps in between visits. Laying flat on my back in bed, i thrust my hips side to side, no wrench not up and down. I can feel it helping within seconds. Its like it minimizes the pinch to a degree and helps for the entire day. I do this for about 30 seconds most mornings. When it really hurts, i put both hand under my lower back as i move my hips side to side. It looks corny, but helps tremendously. $35.00 dan hufferd, tho1mas, fishinwrench and 3 others 4 1 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Alright, I'll give it 2-3 days, and if no relief then I'll break down and go. Here's the thing though......if I do and it doesn't help, then you'll say "Well he wasn't a GOOD ONE then". 🙄 The one I've been to twice in the past is supposed to be really good..... according to everyone around here. And he might be...... but the fact remains that I healed up in the same amount of time that I would have, if I had never gone to him in the first place. This kinda crap is SO irritating!
Ketchup Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Oh yeah, where is the pinch? Hip? Lower back? TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

If I try to squat down that leg gets about halfway and then just goes uncontrollably limp. It's gonna cause me to topple over like a retarded gal in high heels if I'm not careful. Walking up stairs is pretty sketchy right now. Gotta put a death grip on the rail ! As long as my knee is locked straight I'm strong and steady.....but bend that knee and it wants to just toss me.
Ketchup Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Try the hip thrust side to side. Currently it’s my right hip giving me fits, and without doing that exercise I couldn’t go to work daily. fishinwrench 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Gavin Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 No go tomorrow to get some relief. It might take a few visits to get your spine aligned. A good one does not need to take x-rays or use bs quack machinery. They just do some aggressive manual PT to relax you muscles before they snap crackle pop you back in shape. It will hurt, you will be sore, but will feel better than you did when you walked in, allot better next day.

But I'll have Sugarbritches make the call and see how quickly I can get in. If they say "c'mon up" then I'll break away and go.
1farmer Posted September 8, 2022 Posted September 8, 2022 Wrench this may give you some relief. Lie on the floor, flat on your back, have sugarbritches lift your left leg to where it will be vertical to the floor now she should lift your hip off the floor and hold there as long as she can. This will usually take some of the pressure off the muscles and let the nerve relax. If it works you will be wanting her to do this every couple of hours. This is what I do to get some relief when mine gets to bothering me. fishinwrench 1
