Ketchup Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Well, he had an awesome career. He was on Ike Live and said it was time to hand it over to the youngsters now so that he could focus more on hunting and family. The guy has done about all in the bass fishing game. He said he will be visiting TR more as he has a house on the lake near Worldwide Watsons. Good luck Kevin. grizwilson 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. TRRANGER Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 He is an amazing guy and had a heck of great career. He deserves it.
Terrierman Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 I've got a pair of KVD scissors. They cut everything like nobody's business. Not sure how good he can fish, but when it comes to scissors, his are the shiznits. Happy retirement Mr. KVD Scissors! Devan S. 1

The 20+ year old pair of Klein's that I was gifted by a telephone lineman need to be retired, and it appears they don't make them anymore. Those things, when new, would cut a battery cable like it was a piece of licorice, and they are only 5-6" long.

BPS is where I got mine. fishinwrench 1

fishinwrench Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 Well that's cool 👍 I never actually looked, to be honest. I asked another lineman and he said "Yeah those were great, they don't make them anymore",.... and I just took his word for it. Ordering 2 of them right now. THANKS 😉 gurzik and tjm 2

THANKS 😉 Knipex makes the best pliers of all, hands down. The ones from Harbor Freight with the dark red handles are good too (Doyle?). I read somewhere that they're made by the same company that supplies Mac's pliers. fishinwrench 1 -Austin
