Cape Fair 10/15

Put in at 7:05 and started in front of my house. Stuck with 2 baits the whole time. Jerk bait and buzzbait. Pretty good day - caught around 15 total with 6 being keepers. Big was 4.94. I haven’t been fishing for a while so This is my first post in a long time. 
I had a flock of turkeys fly over me and several landed in the lake - first time I ever seen turkeys swim!!

Not often will a turkey land in the water for sure.

First off, that is some great fishing!  I never have seen a turkey land on water or swim either.

I've seen turkey's in water during spring. They would come down wade out and go back the way they came. I thought it had something to do with them being on a nest. But I'm not sure and no nesting now.

I wonder if the turkeys just said, the H#&! with it I'm done flying 🤣!
