Anyone else caught whatever sickness has been going around? 

I took a part time job carrying mail in Bolivar a couple months ago. Was in on Tuesday for a couple hours, felt great. Regular carrier called in Wednesday. I was able to function but not in a quick way. Pressure headache that got progressively worse, everything hurt, no strength or gumption. Split my route and went home. 

Carrier called in again on Thursday. By this time half the office was out. Had other carriers in from Stockton to help out. One of ours got bit by a dog and is out for the week now on top of all that. I felt better though, no headache, still a little sore. Woke up sweating and went to bed shivering.

Today is one of the "regular" days that I work every week, felt better yet but still have the sweating/shivering stuff going on and a pretty good cough. Still had a couple regulars out sick. 

Weirdest thing to me is that I never had a sore throat. Still can taste and smell fine. I imagine someone in the office has been Covid tested and I probably would've heard if it came back positive, but it is the Post Office after all. I haven't knowingly had Covid yet so maybe my luck ran out.

Kinda feels like the flu to me, like I had in 2019 and 2018. 

If anyone else has or had it, it sucks! And for anyone that gets mail from Bolivar, best disinfect it.

Had the virus 3 times myself. All 3 times were totally different. 1st time layed me up for 6 days. Couldn’t function at all. 2nd time didn’t even know i had it. Better 1/2 is a nurse and tested positive and made me take a test. 3rd time felt achy and sore throat 2 days. A buddy called me an hour ago and said he has it for the first time. Said he has a slight fever and sore throat.

When my wife and I had Covid I began having feelings of impending doom.   I finally had a tearful conversation at her bedside stating......."Look, we have got to get up and fight this thing".  

It wasn't that either of us was violently ill.....No crazy fever, no nausea, no congestion.....  It was just as if all the energy was gone, and we both felt like we were gradually dying.   Pretty darn scary.    

Never lost my sense of taste, but my sense of smell still isn't even close to what it was previously.  Gasoline and ammonia aren't even strong odors to me.  And what has it been....2 years now? 

 Shampoo smells like candle wax, regardless of the brand. And a few other things.  Weird!   Most other things smell normal, just way less strong.

I think we had the Flu.I took Medication that mix up like a Tea, felt better right off.

My wife missed a week of work because of it.

I'm having trouble I think with Allergies again.  They fixed my Ears where they will drain but my Hearing Aids don't work with the fluid. So I don't use them.

Yes but some things read come out far worse than they are. 

Just today kept hanging up on her until she text.

Seems she wasn't mad just worried because her Son was telling her she was going to Jail. We explained to her that she was ok her stupid Son just mad because he can't steal more money.  So far he has stolen $10,000.

I went ahead and took a Rona test, came back negative. So just the flu I guess. Still had a bunch of people call in.

Well evidently he isn't too stupid got $10,000 and nothing we can do about it. 

He got it because my Mother in Law trusted him.

We have had a cold go through our house. Nothing like when we had Covid. Still lingering like my cough and congestion. Kept me from trying for deer. Now with temps in 70s that has stopped us as well. Been fishing instead. Not a bad compromise😉
