Been making Jim Beam Black with honey and shot lemon.  Pretty tasty.

Drink it clean oh man.

Several Christmases ago we did a blind taste test at our party of every honey whiskey on the market.  We also included Drambuie even though it is from Scotland.  The winner was Drambuie, with American Honey #2.  Surprised most of us.  I believer Drambuie is the second oldest liquor recipe in the world, with "Liquor 43" being the oldest.

Used to drink a bunch of Drambuie the first couple years I was stationed in Germany. Good stuff, but just too expensive nowadays.

After the Yukon Jack party of ‘81, I swore off sweetened whiskey for life 😀

BTDT. Lol! Used to be I couldn't slide down a mountainside with boards strapped to my feet unless I had a fifth of Yukon Jack in my day pack. Had to step away from them sweet whiskies though, after a particularly rough SoCo bender.

Me I was reading up on Bourbon and decided to try different ones.

Tried Makers Mark, it was OK. My wife had one of those dollar bottles of American Honey. I drank it and told her I liked it and was going to get a bigger bottle.
