Oh it is here too. 👍    The guy that runs our local recycling center is a big time pheasant hunter/crappie freak, and a long time customer.  He gets PLENTY of scrap aluminum from me (heavy stuff), so I'm not bothering with keeping heaps of piddly soda/beer cans sitting around for the flys to breed in.

Grabbed a pair of screen doors from him last summer, and then @fshndoug installed them.  No money changed hands throughout the entire process. Both guys mentioned have quick starting 1-pull motors on all their boats.  And if something goes wrong it gets handled promptly.

🙂👍

The barter system is pretty huge in my circle as well.   So much so that my tax preparer always has inquiries about it.     Guess what? It's STILL legal. 👍

I swear I see empty beer cans.  What did you do with the empty whiskey bottles?  Cover 'em up with the rest of the trash?

Too dang cold for beer and margaritas now.   Been sipping on Tincup and/or Devil's Cut a bit, but I'm never in a condition that I can't legally drive for more than an hour or so.    🙂

Awe come on give him a break one is a diet coke can and the other I bet is too :).      BTW @fishinwrench Recycle those cans or at least drop them off for someone else to recycle. Actually, I have a good deal with the recycle place. I generally just give them to the guy. When I need something like stainless steel for sacrificial anodes for the E tank, he just gives them to me. I scored on some nice wire for trolling motor extensions from battery to plug in. He just says take it. The barter system is alive and well in BilletHeadVille.

I recycle cans by tossing them out the window along the road.  Gives someone a job and helps them out financially.  Saves me the gas going to the scrap yard and supports the local economy.  I do that with all of my recyclables, tree huggers like me.  Gives them a sense of purpose.

HMM! My wife has to pull me away from the floor.

It reaches up and grabs me and won't let loose.

I have a two car garage all of a sudden my car is sitting in the driveway.
