We’ve had snow, freezing rain and sleet.  More than once in the last few days.  The last round was freezing rain, then sleet, then snow.  That has made it less slick today but not good enough to be out.  Come on warm temps.  I want to go fishing.

Here in the Lou, thin layer of snow down in the grass.  Bit of snow on driveway, and ice on cars parked outside.  Supposed to hit 34 today, 46 tomorrow.

Clinton has missed all of the precipitation, which is fine by me. We are cold, though.  Reports show that Truman is pretty much a sheet of ice with the only open water reported at Long Shoal, not that I'm in a big hurry to go fishing at the moment. I've done enough of that in the past to know I'd rather work on the list of things that need doing than go freeze body parts. Another couple of weeks, and that may change.

We have a couple inches of hard packed snow/ice here in the Cotter/Flippin area. I just returned from a trip to Walmart and glad I took our old Jeep Wrangler. The snow/ice is so hard that I didn't leave any tire ruts going up our driveway. I had to use 4 wheel/low to get up the driveway. Also, no footprints left on that stuff.

COLD. Been wanting to go fishing but everyone to take me are either too busy or it is too cold.

I drove to Ft. Smith on Monday and had to come back to Springfield yesterday afternoon. I appreciate the job that MoDot does on the roads. The drive from Ft. Smith to the Missouri line was not fun.

Yeah, if there's snow or ice, they don't need a sign at the state line to tell you where Missouri starts. Been that way for a long time.

City finally made it by this morning with some sand, I finally got out, first time since early Monday. 2WD and a ten foot rise to start out keeps me home a day or two every winter. Already been four this year. Enough!

I can't dance like I used to.
