Another armchair expert watching Fox.  So really, 100's of chances?  Please tell us more.  Give me 5.

No expert, just very common sense prone.  Yes literally 100’s just within a 200 mile line. I assume you have never been through Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, heck even Nebraska and Mo. had plenty of open places to take it down. But, your chief in charge of documents thought like you do, and wanted his boss to get all of the data they needed before stepping up and doing what should have been done days earlier.

It was "a gross overreaction of the U.S. to shoot it down"...... But isn't it funny that they were sure to carefully maneuver it around Russian airspace?

You know that answer. Russia wouldn’t have played the game that Joseph did.

Common sense??  You presume to know a lot about shooting down 3-story tall balloons at 65K feet with unknown payloads.    Tell us more.

Yeah, I've been through those states . . . vast is an understatement.  So what?  Do you want it falling on your land, or house?

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, with absolutely no knowledge at all about what the heck you're talking about other than what Tucker or Hannity made you outraged about on Fox 20 minutes ago.

"Payloads"

In all seriousness, it was really stupid to shoot it down.  Especially after it had already passed completely over the United States.   It would have been much smarter to track where it was headed to next.

It obviously was never going to make it all the way back to from whence it came.......so it was destined to fall on SOMEONE'S property that doesn't belong to anyone in China.

When I was a teenager we were camped at Marshall Diggs CA and some kinda "space debris" fell from the sky and landed in Whitesell lake.  2 very heavy pieces of it. Heavy enough to crush a house for sure .  If that lake is ever drained I'd love to see what that was.   I know exactly where to look too.

If that had fallen on somebody's house, barn, or building...... nobody would have claimed it, and somebody's insurance premium would have increased drastically.

If it fell into "international waters", it could have been a field day and a grab bag.  Precisely dropping it where we could retrieve it may have helped.  There was a bag of Hillary's personal garbage onboard.

I think the debris field has lengthening to 7 miles as of the last report this afternoon.  It was 5 when I read this morning.

I stood with my buddy looking over Chickamauga Lake yesterday morning and asked "what kinda stupid will they come up with next??"

You really can't make this up.  The last 4 years have been surreal.

So what?  Well, as stated they had plenty of opportunities to down that spy ship. My land? You bet. As long as it wasn’t allowed to spy from west coast to east coast like it was.  It never should have made it back out of Canada. Shows how weak Canada is as well.
We get that you love speaking without actually saying anything. Facts in this case are as easy to follow as are those that follow the joseph regime. Thinking this whole balloon thing was a smoke show since your president has been getting hammered lately

Fox news!!   Facts?  what facts?  Mere speculation and fear mongering.  Love the "should have".  Share with us the intel we are not privy to, that you seem to have.  I'm all ears.
