Members yowoodchuck Posted March 8, 2023 Author Members Posted March 8, 2023 Just an update report: I ran another land test with the muffs--all seemed just fine. I dropped the boat on the water and everything worked great. Thanks again Fishinwrench fishinwrench, Daryk Campbell Sr and Terrierman 3
fshndoug Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Wrench is the man on this site if you have a boat problem. He is also a pretty good stick. Terrierman 1

There ya go, you had to mention his stick. That will open a can of worms. Wrench enjoys helping others and really enjoys what he does. He is a good mechanic. fishinwrench and Daryk Campbell Sr 1 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

But, he’s a good dude. nomolites and fshndoug 2 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
fshndoug Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 He can also tie great flies that actually will catch a fish or two.

If I can fully understand the design and determine what the issue is, then I'm good. If I have to rely on a half-assed computer program to diagnose issues, and then ONLY do what the program tells me to do.......in order to avoid liability.....then I'm not playing that game. I'm 100% capable of doing that, but choose not to. 75-80% of the time the computer diagnostics program is wrong, and customers never say to their friends/family ..."Well he did everything that the diagnostic program said to do..... but it's still not running right". NO! They get on Facebook and scream to the world....."That dude at Sims Marine is a rip-off artist, he charged me 1400.00 and my motor still runs like crap". I'm not playing that game ! I refuse ! The dealers that sell those POS can just go right ahead and swallow that load.
