I have seen more grasshoppers this year then I have ever seen while mowing... A lot of cicadas as well. I aim to try hoppers at Bennett end of August. Beetles have served me well there. .   let me know how the hopper bite progresses Ryan

I think it’s the low water.   Last year it was running more and pushes them to the bank.  Just my opinion of course.

Try a sulphur colored cracklback in the surface film.

Works over here on the Bull Shoals tailwater and also the Norfork the last couple of mornings.

I think you're right. Last year even with the water off there was a little flow and it was much higher that it is this year.

Probably. But I always do best with no water running and just the natural, slow flow.
