jdmidwest
Nice day yesterday, got a few drops of rain. Cloud cover keep it cool enough to fish until about noon. Then the North wind kicked up out of the blue and the smoke rolled in. Blotted out the sun, made it hazy all afternoon. The hilltops and valley's were smoky. Today, same thing. Hazy all day then around 4, strong North wind out of the blue for about 45 minutes. Then calm. Goofy weather pattern this summer. Cooled off some this afternoon after that wind blew thru. fishinwrench
I got so used to us not getting any rain that I quit pulling the plug on my boat. Today it dumped on us......and I sunk the boat on the trailer. 🙄 Been drying out storage compartments all day. It was sure nice to get some water on this ground, and it soaked up every bit. Not a drop made it to the ditch.
jdmidwest
It's dry, worst I have seen this early in long time. But that smoke has been coming down the pipe for over a month creating that hazy sky. If we pumped that much smoke back across there border, we would have to pay for it. Put those fires out, eh! snagged in outlet 3 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Otherwise, you just be pumping/dumping filthy bilge water!
bfishn
If it'll fit in a bilge drain hole, you've got bigger problems than a sinking boat... I can't dance like I used to.
