All of this open public discussion of the BUSINESS of fishing.....is what's going to damage the sport more than anything else IMO.

If you mean the tournament side of fishing…..   I don’t care.  If it leads to less fishermen, I hope it kills it😂.  Anyone that PAYS to do something then calls themselves a “pro” is delusional.   If I don’t think I’m earning enough money for what I’m doing I go find a better gig.

When it was 1-2 per month it was cool. Loved it. But now that there's 4 per week...... I'm totally over it.

The truth hurts, Covid started it. Remember when we used to talk about 50 trailers at the ramp during the middle of the week in 2020? Someone noticed

Let me just say this:   A company that produces a truly good product, or provides a truly good service, has no need to pay anyone, much less a "team", to promote them.

Success as a professional angler should be a result of CATCHING FISH, not being an exceptional advertiser.

Well I totally agree.
just cracks me up at ICast every year that the “best new soft plastic bait” is won by the big guys.

Aside from the increased amount of people on the water nothing else changed for me.   I think it subsided a little this year.  But that could be due to increased gas prices.
