Members MoFisher22
Thinking about going after some smallies this weekend with the nice weather incoming. I’m not very knowledgeable on where the fish would be this time of year. I like fishing above Bennett near Moon Valley, does that part of the river still hold fish this time of year? trythisonemv
oneshot 1
Guy by the park caught a nice one and released it. I would say anywhere above the Park is good. Caught several Goggle Eye they have to be 7 inches long. Lead Mine is good if you want to stay between the corner above the Ramp and just below it. oneshot trythisonemv

There are 3 holes between MV and the 64 bridge that hold some all Winter, but it's really not worth it because they get real spooky as you approach them. So unless you wanna sit there long enough for them to forget about you and settle down you'll likely only catch one dink per hole. The "forbidden section" of the Osage Fork is worth looking into, and in the same geographical area......but you'll have to do your own homework. 😁 MObassin95 and trythisonemv

Members MoFisher22
Ended up having a great day. Didn’t get a bite until I was 4 miles into my float but when I found one I found them all. Ended up with 9 fish that were 15+ inches. Here’s a few of my best. Thanks to everyone who provided insight last week. nomolites, ness, Johnsfolly and 4 others
fishinwrench
Heck of a job! That's better than I could have done on that stretch. 👍 What did you catch them on? MoFisher22
Members MoFisher22
Started off throwing the ned until I found them. Then once I knew I was in the right hole I started throwing a white spinnerbait and most were caught on that, although the biggest fish was caught on a crankbait. I had already begun to think I was going to get skunked since I was over 3 hours into my float, but I guess that’s just winter fishing. They all pile up together.
