In fact, none of them could even kick.

Suffering from it for years and she knows she is losing it. Seems pretty happy and remembers all of us kids. Had it for years but on the other hand her sister my aunt just passed a couple weeks ago. Same thing but hers was very fast. Forgetting so much quickly. Just a stare off into the distance with no focus. Quit eating and did not want anyone to help her with anything. It was hospice next and all that goes with that. fishinwrench 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" At 63 I’m second oldest in my lineage so I’ve watched a lot of family go.

bfishn Posted April 19 Posted April 19 Gotta love the OA opinion threads! That said, colonoscopy hasn't yet been an experience of mine, even though I know it should be. I'm 65 and haven't even had a physical in 30 years. Couple minor infections that MediQuick cured for $25 OOP in 30 minutes. Haven't had a "family" doctor since I left the nest. My insurance even covers all that preventative stuff before deductible, but all attempts to schedule are at least 4 months away for a newbie. Screw that. I'll save up for the ER. disclaimer: I have much faith in modern medicine; just not in the for-profit a-holes that sell it. fishinwrench, BilletHead and nomolites 1 2 I can't dance like I used to.

Just refrain from asking them to remember things, and refrain from assigning them tasks.....and they'll function just fine. Constantly bombarding them with questions and telling them to do things just frustrates them. They are often way more capable than it appears.....if just left alone to do things whenever & however they please. In an hour conversation you will hear the same thing ten times. As long as she does not hurt and suffers, I am good if she outlasts me. She beat covid and a broken hip at the same time. Sad but funny her sister, my aunt that just passed was here three months ago. The sisters got together for a visit. The two of them had a long conversation. No one knew exactly what they were talking about but those two seemed to understand what each were saying. bfishn, Terrierman and fishinwrench 2 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!"
