Since they turned the floodgates off at Taney and I had a meeting at 9 o’clock I put the tin can in here at table rock.   A couple guides on YouTube said there was a shad spawn so I went to the back of a couple coves near here that I thought might have runoff coming in.   I found the dirty water in the third Cove I went to.

There was a bunch of leaves and wood chips piled up around some logs, and the shad were jumping out of the water onto it.   I threw a white chatter bait in there and boom!   First cast got smoked.

I took evidence pictures of the nicer ones.  The big one is 20” and 5 pounds.   I was sitting on spot lock retying my leader and the 19”er came out of the wood chasing shad with his back out of the water.   I finished my knot and flipped the chatter bait in front of him and he nailed it.

Good point.  Bass teeth definitely would not ever have rotting hunks of fish guts stuck between them. 😜

Has the slime on your truck's steering wheel dried yet?

I like it - I would change the peat in repeat to Pete, as in "RePete".
