ollie
If you fish or hunt in Oklahoma, after July the prices went up quite a bit. I am seriously considering not getting one next year. Out of state fishing went up to $81 dollars and a single day went up to $26. Hunting for deer alone will set you back around $500 or something crazy like that. I know a lot of other states charge a fortune for out of state use, but I never considered Oklahoma to be that great when it came to some of their facilities. As it is already, if you want to use some of their state parks you have to pay an additional $10 a day just to park there and use them. I personally don't see where any of that money is being used for improvement. I am on a couple of websites that I see many people who live in Oklahoma bashing them because they aren't doing any maintenance like they should be. Twin Bridges for one isn't any better than it was before they implemented the higher cost. If I knew for sure the improvements were being made and my money was going to help that I might consider buying another one, but I just don't see that happening right now. Done with the rant. Off my soapbox now. Quillback
I remember 10 years ago an OK non-res license was pretty reasonable. If it $81 as you mention, that is disappointing. Quite a few fishermen from NWA fish over in OK.
tjm
Currently costs me $80 to fish Ar.; $60NR + $20 trout, so OK at $81 isn't all that much more, although it is a jump from my current cost of $58. ( OK doesn't add on for trout.) MO cost for NR is $61 $51 for being a NR and $10 trout. I consider that trout add on to be one of the stupidest things ever done, a fishing license should cover all fishing for one fee, the trout cost spread over all permits would probably only raise the permit cost a few pennies and be a reduction in the cost of admin. Kinda like selling one drivers' license for east-west roads and another for north-south roads. Daryk Campbell Sr
ollie
tjm, although Arkansas is about the same in price, there is no comparison when it comes to the facilities and how they are maintained. Like I said earlier, if OK would actually DO something about the conditions of their ramps, restrooms, etc. I probably wouldn't mind it so much. snagged in outlet 3 and Johnsfolly 2 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek! Johnsfolly
I have had NR fishing licenses from 6 states this year and will collect a few more (maybe 6 more 🙄) before the year ends. I don't want my wife to ever find out how much I've spent on license fees😉😅 I do try to go for the minimum stay, like a 1-, 3-, 7-day, etc.. instead of an annual if possible. Most expensive was our FL NR licenses at $63.53 for 5 days, since we had to buy both fresh and saltwater licenses. Cheapest is our annual Delaware license that covers fresh and salt for just $20. DADAKOTA
Missouri should have reciprocal agreements with other states. In addition, if the states limit the hunting days for non-residents (AR - Ducks) then we should limit their hunters as well. Limited permits for NR then we should as well. Of course the MDC might consider such things if they didn't have the sales tax freebie. snagged in outlet 3 and BilletHead

I typically buy 4 or more NRs per year and try to stay away from the annual. Except AR. I buy an annual every year. Going to Wisconsin next week and it’s $30 for 4 days. In addition, it seems in the past if it was a guide trip I didn’t need one. Now I have to buy one every time. Johnsfolly

Good luck in WI buddy! Got to see some photos! I still haven't fished that state yet. Someday. snagged in outlet 3
