Would someone please turn on the heat

I have a friend that likes to say, "Where's that global warming when you need it?"  

I was at the grocery store one day and said that to the lady checking me out, hoping for a chuckle. But before I got it, the fellow in line behind me decided it was an opportunity to educate us with, shall we say, his rather unique views on global warming. So, I'm careful about saying that in mixed company now.  

I'm ok here though , right?

Intentionally looked for a level area that WASN'T a snow drift.   Table top on the South side of the house. 

I bet it's 3' deep on the other side.    Gonna be a muddy mess around here in a few days. 🙄

I'll settle for some local warming.  It is all of 2 degrees out there right now.

It is 0° here now with a bad wind chill.  The good part is we did not get the 10-14” of predicted snow.  We probably got around 4” but there are some good sized drifts.

I'd guess we're somewhere around 6 inches.  It blew a lot so it's hard to tell.  It is very fluffy so will be easy to deal with when I get the snow blower out.  Which might be a while.  It's frigid. 1 right now.

We got a few more inches of the powdery stuff.   Dang cold!  
 

Anybody know the road conditions around Branson-Hollister?   I want to come down but probably wait until the weekend.

We ended up with about 4". Way less than what was in the forecast. Still cold with 11 degrees right now.

Watched the 5 PM local news weather forecast, the guy doing the forecast said we were going to get a lot more snow last night, possibly another 6 inches.  HA!  It stopped snowing about 7 PM.
