If I'm reading things right, Table Rock is not releasing water.  Bull Shoals is not releasing water.  Norfork is not releasing water.  Norfolk is less than 2 feet from the top of flood pool, and Bull Shoals is 6 feet from the top of flood pool.  And everything is still rising.  Is anybody down there building a BIG wooden boat and gathering up animals? 😁

Well it looks like it has stopped for now.  It's chilly out there however, hard to believe June is just a week away.

The last few days rain event has ramped down up here. 2.75 inches is our total in the BilletHead's yard. I'm not going to complain one way or another. Our ground needed it coming off of a three-year summer drought. too many places did get too much too fast. It will be interesting how the corps of engineers deal with it.

Cloud 9 has been pummeled all spring. we had a flood that matched the 2017 flood already, and in the last two weeks had two more floods.  This past weekend its been just as bad. It feels like the creek will never come back down.

everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.

Where is Cloud 9?

East of us, south central MO, has really gotten hit hard with high water over the past few years.

It appears no rain in the next 7 days.  In past years, June brings drier weather.  Let's hope it will this year.  Keep an eye on the whole Mississippi Valley.  You could go as far as looking to see what's coming down the Mississippi - see when they might see a drop in levels at Newport.  That could be weeks knowing that system.
