snagged in outlet 3 Posted Tuesday at 08:41 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:41 PM My daughter and I hit the water at 5:45 at Cooper and ran to the dam. We were first! It rained! And in between rain showers it rained some more. I spent my time working with her. Her first cast, fish on! Big rainbow! Then silence 😆. Got off. We fished until 10:30 with only 3 other small rainbows and 1 small brown. We had a blast laughing while running back to the cable with rain in our faces. She drove the boat most of the time and went and got the trailer and backed it in! Her first time doing it all herself! We’ve been working on it the past year when we have time. We’re back at it tomorrow. Hawkfarm, Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites and 6 others 9

Woah ! 👍 I'll pay you if you can teach MY daughter that part ! She doesn't seem to understand "Stop just as soon as the fender goes underwater" The fender of the TRAILER......NOT THE FENDER OF THE G-D TRUCK ! 😲 She's a mirror atheist..... Doesn't believe in them. 🙄 A well paid engineer mind you. Thinks my truck is a submarine. Daryk Campbell Sr, nomolites and snagged in outlet 3 3

On the weekends we go to empty parking lots. Last fall at the ramp she got flustered but I told her to stop and take a breath. Now she instinctively looks at the mirrors. Even angled it slightly downstream too. 👍 Daryk Campbell Sr and fishinwrench 2

Flysmallie Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM Posted yesterday at 02:08 AM I didn't get any beer but I did make some beer money one afternoon after a Champion boats tournament. I helped one wife and it snowballed from there. They were lined up for a while. Daryk Campbell Sr and nomolites 2

So far I’ve trailered 3 boats for people on the river or at Taney. 2 jets on the river and prop boat at Taney when the spillways were open. It’s a skill for sure.
rps Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago On the 4th of July, I used to go down to the marina near the Holiday Island ramp. Alan (the marina concessionaire at the time) and I would watch the show, drink a little beer, and bet on the success of attempted launches and recoveries, as well as whether the boat would start. Once every few years, someone would drop a boat off the trailer. Some people took offense when they heard us laughing.
