Flysmallie Posted March 1 Posted March 1 Headed out to the Little Sac this morning to check the water, try a little fishing, and play with a new video camera. I was headed around the bend just down below the old steel bridge. As I was leaving my vehicle I passed a fisherman that seemed to be in a hurry. He didn’t say anything. I headed towards the water and just as I was getting to spot to cast I look up and see the agent. Well fudge, yep that’s what I said. Fudge. It was at that moment that I hoped I had auto renewal on for my license that expired yesterday. Luckily he was able to look it up for me and let me know that I did not have a current license. I was immediately on my phone working on a renewal. As I was doing that we had a nice little conversation and he wished me a good day and moved on. It took me a few minutes to complete my transaction and then I went fishing. And as he predicted, I caught nothing. Nice to see someone patrolling that area. Gets a bit sketchy this time of year. I'm pretty sure anyone can get a lifetime permit. Cost varies with age. tjm and Daryk Campbell Sr 2

I'm pretty sure anyone can get a lifetime permit. Cost varies with age. They can but it can benefit when you are very young and at 60. At a certain point you are exempt on fishing. Being Pat and I were buying combos we were way ahead to do what we did at 60. Outdoors is the cheapest form of entertainment there is. We have it pretty good here. We buy our son's combo hunt and fish each year and he is now 45. With the cost going up and up we could have bought his Lifetime at an early age and been way ahead.
