aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Just saw this thread and literally just got home from Bass Pro and it is buy one get one on Flouro clear right now, so I got some. There wasn't very many left at the Springfield store but I bet they are running the sale online since its the Spring fishing classic....They also had good deals on XPS braid snagged in outlet 3 1
fishinwrench Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Flouroclear is actually a "co-polimer" which means that if you stretch it real good it can separate. When overly stretched it will curl up and possibly loose some strength. I use P-Line CX Premium (which is also a co-polimer) for bass fishing and love it because it's fairly limp, yet the abrasion resistance is excellent, and knot strength is great. You just have to inspect it occasionally and cut out any crazy curly sections. I have used Flouroclear in 6# for crappie fishing but I prefer the CX Premium for reasons I can't really explain. P-Line CXX is crazy stiff.....Low stretch but too much memory for my taste.....but it is tough as hell. I'd recommend staying away from that stuff. snagged in outlet 3, grizwilson and Seth 3
