netboy Posted April 19 Posted April 19 That is disgusting. Hope they somehow catch the guy. There was a similar incident at Dry Run Creek a few years ago. Some jerk was notching the tails of fish his kid caught. BilletHead and snagged in outlet 3 2

MOPanfisher Posted April 20 Posted April 20 For those that are carving into spoonbills, scum will be scum whether they are snagging or poaching deer.
fishinwrench Posted April 20 Author Posted April 20 How long do you suppose it took to carve that paddle into a sawfish sword ? Kinda creative really. That person will make a good tattoo & piercing artist if they ever get to prison.
DADAKOTA Posted Tuesday at 02:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:10 PM My guess it is someone who has gotten a citation from MDC for paddlefish poaching, selling caviar, etc.
tjm Posted Tuesday at 03:55 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:55 PM Or someone who hates fish. Their actions did nothing to MDC, just harmed the fish. FishnDave 1

Spoonbill are right in line behind Asian Carp as far as I'm concerned. 🙄 I doubt that anyone would get upset about somebody carving one of them up.
