How far would you have to walk to find lots of flowers 100,000 years ago ?    

And what kinda condition would they be in by the time you got back with them ?  

 

 

 

The best I could come up with, lacking a vehicle, is a handful of dandelions.

Took pulled me out in middle of the lake and shot a hole in it.

Pat says she is just taking me out a rolling me over the side. She wants to keep using the boat.

BTW, Jeremy Clarkson, on the right, has a series on Netflix called Clarkson's Farm. It's kind of a Green Acres-like thing where wealthy city boy tries his hand at farming. It's pretty dang funny, but you'll have to tolerate a lot of f-bombs and other words. Since it's British, some of the curse words are funny in themselves.

My mother in law died the end of last year.   She was 85 I think.  The kids did not want the body prepared or an open casket. But the funeral home insisted on it saying some folks changed their minds and it couldn’t be done later.  They charged an outrageous amount of money for it.    And of course nobody even looked in the casket to see what they did.

The other day told my wife I was going to turn the Compost.

She says fine you drop dead be easy to add to it.

She always comes up with something. She use to go hunting with me. Then she started talking about how easy it would be to murder someone and make it an accident.

You noticed I said use to.

There seems to be a trend toward not having funerals, at least among my family members and people I know. They are ridiculously expensive, as are cemetery plots. But, there is some very real value in the gathering, paying respects, reminiscing, reconnecting, etc.

yep.  Most are just having a wake for family and close friends
