  12. David sustained a spinal cord injury while on active duty with the U.S. military in 2014. In the same year he was injured, David attended his first Disabled Veteran Winter Sports Clinic. After two days of lessons, he mastered the mono ski and was encouraged to seek out more ski clinics. After another week with the Veterans Adaptive Sports in Telluride, he was invited to attend an advanced skiing program in Aspen. In 2018, David continued to train with the Aspen Training Center and competed in numerous World Cup events. This is his first year as a member Team USA and his goal is to compete at the 2022 Paralympics. It will be a absolute honor to root for this young man! Thank You for sharing!

  18. I know they always dropped the water level during the winter back in the 80's. I remember back April of 1985, the lake was 22 feet low! I remember because I caught my PB, a 9.1 oz at night on pig/jig. All my friends claimed the only reason I caught that fish is he was isolated in a small puddle of water and was starving!

  24. It's a good thing they have drawn it down recently! I heard the reason was to draw Beaver down to work on the dam. That plan might be on hold for awhile!
