  1. Maybe a little
  2. Because people like fishing for them.
  3. There is a website promoting restoration of the Ozark Chinquapin trees. I'd love for that to happen.
  4. Hey BH, If you need someone to take a few of those chestnut trees, I'd love to plant and protect a few in my yard. thanks your buddy, Ham
  5. Well ...yeah, I do.
  6. Me too. I just want access to the lake. I'll take my chances at catching a few fish.
  7. Bull Shoals Boat Dock and Brown Beach on lower lake. Should be the high water ramp at Diamond City too.
  8. "Back to normal" in 4 months?
  9. Don't feed the troll, but Bsn roll on my be appropriate
  10. Thank You for the intell
  11. I painted part of an aluminum boat interior with Tuff Coat. It worked just fine for me.
  12. I would guess state park between the river arms, BUT the Stockton regulars should answer
  13. We launched out of Mutton the first day. We launched at the State Park the second Day. We launched at Mutton on a day 3 after our first choice was covered up in wood. We relocated to Aldrich and burned a few fishless hours and some gas. We caught 40 or so fish a day btw us, but they weren't all bass and most were small. We each lost a 3 lb bass, but you know fishing is tough when you talk about the one that got away and missed opportunities.
  14. Nothing replaces personal experience on the different streams. Al's method is very useful, but think about the data. in the summer on stuff that is normally too low to float >75 % might be necessary to have an enjoyable float.
  15. It isn't easy fishing at Stockton with conventional gear right now. Good job man.
  16. I fished with cajunangler. Sure was tough. Tried all over the lake. Tried a lot of things. I felt like water was pretty ugly, but it was less ugly towards the dam we caught fish, but not a lot and not a lot of size. We really put in a lot of tine with minimal results. I would suggest fishing elsewhere until conditions improve / stabilize.
  17. Ok, not launching at Pontiac for a while.
  18. It's been a long time since I fished Ouachita, but it was a whack fest when I was last there. AND I was told I should have been there the week before When the fishing was good.
  19. You can buy the Zig Jigs at Harps but they are more expensive in the 3 pack. I hope you love the Air Stream/Nano combo as much as I do. It's a great set up. I wish I could give you an on the water demo, but I have to work thru Monday. I apparently am a better teacher than learner because everyone I show the Zig Jigs to catches them better than I did when I was just starting out. remember, throw the Jig slightly downstream and they snag a lot less. God Bless and Good Fishing
  20. Some Caddis coming off. I didn't see Trout taking the adults. The fish were midging like all get out in a back eddy I found. That would be fun with an emergent or soft hackle. Remember you can always use the boat to access areas to wade just make sure you have the app for your phone and know what they are doing with the water. My three best areas could have all been fished on foot once you got to them with the boat. I hope y'all catch the fool out of them. It may fish a little harder than usual, but you should all catch fish
  21. That is my understanding
  22. Non-sense. Drift chain with an inner tube shock absorber.
  23. If It starts raining polar bears, I'm gonna be pissed.
