    Ned rods

I really have not ever noticed that being a problem.

Show me on the poster where the Falcon Rod hurt you.

I set the hook too hard a lot of the time. Super Dave sets it MUCH, MUCH harder than I do. Super Dave is very particular about his rod choices. He is 100% sincere and well reasoned in his suggestions, but not everyone thinks sensitivity in a spinning rod is a BAD Thing and Not everyone thinks straight fluro on spinning is a Good Thing. Those Kansas Ned Fishing Jedi using the Force to detect strikes when letting the Little guy drift along somewhere in The water column are a Special breed. remember that I’m somewhat of an iconoclast. I don’t fish the Zig Jig like Richard Cross does either. Both of those guys catch way more than their share of the fish. I do ok.

If its cool with everybody else, I'd like Bull back down below 674 sometime before October
  6. Gonna cost Ovi some in his chase for Wayne's record. That makes me smile a little (OK, a lot).
  7. I've seen boat traffic shut them down on the White River below Bull Shoals multiple times. Fishing immediately below the dam. Same generation level, same weather. Trout are biting good. The more boats that pile in, the slower the bite becomes.
  8. Lol, I've got some Bandits that are 40 plus years old and some Bagley's that are older than that. Yes, they caught fish back then too.
  9. The New Regs have helped, but I shouldn’t discount the reduced fishing pressure. really good year for bug hatches ; How much more fun will the White be if it starts having reliably heavy Caddis and Mayfly hatches to go along with the Hopper hatch
  10. I caught fish on one of mine. 65 degree water temps. I got a Nice Spotted Bass on a flat point. I might commit to an all day too water trip except I’m enjoying throwing a fluke so much Tm right now. #LateToTheParty
  11. Not throwing a Shower Blows?
  12. The trout are Super Healthy right now.
  13. Babbler is Your Guy

    4-6 FOW or 4-6 deep ?
  17. The White River and Norfork River are both getting re-stocked with Walleye and other warm water species.
  18. In theory, you can have too much recruitment. Bull Shoals is slap full of fish, but they have lots of room to hide right now. I would really love a year of 667
  19. I have thrown a jerk bait a little, but I have not gotten much love on it. The few fish I have caught have been small.
  20. Good on ya Man! Taking o. That high water and winning. Maybe Next week for me. i took a younger coworker to Norfork (mid lake) instead. Yesterday. He has newborn twins at home. Started late and quit early. water clear. 62 degrees. Some spawning. Some staging. Boat had 45 fish. Swimbait , fluke, Senko, Shakeyhead mostly

I think the extended High water in both lakes has given the Bluegills a population surge. im catching a bunch of Big ones on Norfork. you’re killing me with the crappie though.
