I set the hook too hard a lot of the time. Super Dave sets it MUCH, MUCH harder than I do. Super Dave is very particular about his rod choices. He is 100% sincere and well reasoned in his suggestions, but not everyone thinks sensitivity in a spinning rod is a BAD Thing and Not everyone thinks straight fluro on spinning is a Good Thing. I don’t fish the Zig Jig like Richard Cross does either. Both of those guys catch way more than their share of the fish. I do ok.

I've seen boat traffic shut them down on the White River below Bull Shoals multiple times. Fishing immediately below the dam. Same generation level, same weather. Trout are biting good. The more boats that pile in, the slower the bite becomes.

Lol, I've got some Bandits that are 40 plus years old and some Bagley's that are older than that. Yes, they caught fish back then too.

I caught fish on one of mine. 65 degree water temps. I got a Nice Spotted Bass on a flat point. I might commit to an all day too water trip except I’m enjoying throwing a fluke so much Tm right now. #LateToTheParty

I think the extended High water in both lakes has given the Bluegills a population surge. im catching a bunch of Big ones on Norfork. you’re killing me with the crappie though.
