    Man this is not cool and completely unwarranted. Skeeter lives on the lake and cares about it immensely. You are barking up the wrong tree. He is a friend of mine and this thread is pissing me off bigtime.

    Very true....nothing more stupid than seeing someone with a little dog sitting up with them on their lap. Why do soo many people have to take their dogs with them shopping?? Your dog is that dang pathetic it can't stay home alone for a few while you shop or the dog owner is so pathetic they can't phathom their pooch to be alone. I asked some dude at Lowes why he had to bring his dog in the store and he said it was his therapy dog???...the guy was walking fine and looked to be in good health....I guess some of us need our busy bee to be able to function??

    I feel the same way about drivers who are texting or staring at their phone while driving....there is no difference between a drunk and a texting driver. They both made the choice to drive in that state and both should pay the price IMO. Distracted drivers are everywhere and are just as dangerous and really more dangerous IMO simply because there are way more distracted drivers and stupid drivers for that matter out on our roads.

    right on!!!!!!.....seriously who is actually naïve enough to think the mining discharge will not go into the river??? come on man!!!! If this is allowed heads should be rolling. I know it's private land but, there should be an easement on all land with in the corridor of any stream or river that will not allow a private individual to do certain things with your land.....like mines or dumps

    cool Seth.....you should see some of the trout handling I have been witnessing at the Three urban lakes I had been fishing until the little ice age. Some guys were holding the trout on the ground with their foot while they pulled on the rooster tail in it's throat hahahahaha....classic. For the green snakes I am almost always barbless and usually never lift a green snake out of the pond or stream.....just pop the opposite way the hook point went in and they come right off VERY easily.

    I think it's an excellent idea....there are some sections in the lower end that will blow people's minds...it needs to be a C P R tourney though but, cook up all the Spots you need

    Oh hell yeah....very nice. Bucktail doesn't have the movement that will. I really don't use Buck at all...Rabbit, Arctc fox and Bear is the best movement...if you are worried about fall rate Buck can be useful

    Me and my daughter wade fishing for the first time.....sorry about the gut as I was pretty fat this Summer, another good thing is that was 22lbs ago She is a girly girl, so these were baby steps for her as I try to ease her into fishing.

    I tie almost exclusively Rabbit and occasionally Bear. Mitch is right it can be a pain in the butt. The right fur is a must but, they do work no doubt. I also tie some Rabbit, Maribo and synthetic hair jigs that I copied from a guy online....they work pretty good also. I also just the other day tied some Rabbit and Buck and some hair and feathers for the trout parks. My basement is currently devoted to jig tying and tackle storage right now

    I am about as confused as you. I originally posted a link to a google photos album and Trout Addict pointed out that a few of the images still had the info tag on them still....so I deleted it. then the accusations start to fly about how unfriendly it is to try not to show where the images were taken.... no biggie to me, I understand people want to know where to go fishing. Then he goes into the CGB "ugly baby" diatribe against the Lower Meramec??? weird wild stuff

    dude get over yourself.....a few of the older pics of Mitch still had the info services on at the time the image was taken. I haven't had that on my phones for years, out of respect for my friends I deleted the link. Thanks for the heads up on the images but, I didn't ask you for anything.....go ahead and bash me for being paranoid about where we catch nice fish on rivers....it must be an Eastside posse thing???? hahahahaha
